TEEN CADET PROGRAM
MISSION STATEMENT
The mission of the Livingston County Sheriff’s Office Teen Cadet Program is to prepare young people for future leadership roles in the community and to help them develop careers in the law enforcement profession.
The Teen Cadet Program promotes careers in all bureaus of the Livingston County Sheriff’s Office. Personal growth, character development, and good citizenship will be the foundational goals of the program.
The LCSO Teen Cadet Program is designed to educate and train young people who are interested in pursuing a career in law enforcement.
Teen Cadets, ages 14-20, will participate in Observations/Ride-Alongs of all LCSO bureaus, receive hands-on training in various aspects of law enforcement, take career focused field trips, attend monthly meetings, and participate in community policing events.
