Chief Deputy Aaron Galvin is a 24 year member of the Sheriff's Office. He began his career as a Deputy in the Correctional Services Bureau, was promoted to Sergeant of the Court Security Division, and ultimately became the Chief Deputy of the Correctional Services Bureau.

The Correctional Services Bureau services the Livingston County Jail, the County Court House and Alternatives to Incarceration.

Captain Jeremy Slocum is a 24 year member of the Sheriff’s office. In 2001 he began his career as Deputy in the Correctional Services Bureau. In 2010 he promoted to the rank of Corporal and then to the rank of Sergeant in 2015. Ultimately being promoted to the rank of Captain in 2024. Captain Slocum oversees the Livingston County Jail Division’s day to day administrative functions.
The Jail staff is made up of 1 Sergeant, 6 Corporals, 58 full time Deputies, 19 part time Deputies and 4 civilian staff members.

Corrections Officers work 8.5 hour shifts. All education is paid for.
All training is included. No college required.
